When you submit your application our dedicated fit2work team review your application to ensure all required information and supporting documents are correct.

You can check the status of your check at any time within your fit2work profile and share your background check results with your employer.

Up to 70% of checks are returned within 15 minutes after the fit2work team has processed your check. 30% of checks may be referred to ‘manual processing’ for further investigations by the police. Once a check has been sent to manual processing, it may take up to 15 working days or longer to return due to the complexity of the request. fit2work is not able to speed up the return of a check result if it has been referred to manual processing.

The cost for submitting your check is $52.90 + GST and is required to be paid upfront.
