Application Tips

  • When you submit your application our dedicated fit2work team review your application to ensure all required information and supporting documents are correct. You will receive a confirmation email with a reference page and reference number.

  • You can check the status of your check at any time within your fit2work profile and share your background check results.

  • Approximately 20% of check requests submitted are flagged for manual processing, and typically take 2-10 business days. Approximately 5% of checks may take up to 20 business days to be returned.

  • The cost for submitting your check is $49.90 + GST and is payable once you have completed your online application.

  • In order to submit your police check, your proof of identity documents need to be uploaded with your application. Click here to view the proof of identity requirements.
